Adoption Process

Adoption Fees:

PUPPIES 6 MONTHS AND UNDER- $125
DOGS OVER 6 MONTHS- $80 - $110
PURE BREED DOGS- $200

ADULT CATS OVER 6 MONTHS - $55
KITTENS 6 MONTHS AND UNDER - $110
PURE BREED CATS- $150

Fees Include:

• First vaccinations and deworming (only for roundworms).
• Free vet exam from participating vets.
• Spay / neuter – pet will be spayed or neutered before going to his new home.
• Dog slip lead.
• Cardboard cat carrier.
• Microchip identification.
• Current year dog license.
• Heartworm test for dogs/pups 6 months or older.
• Feline Leukemia and Feline Aids test (not vaccinations for these diseases).

If you would like to adopt one of our pets, you must first complete an application. Upon approval of your application, you, your family, or others sharing the household (and pets if suggested by us) should visit with the pet. Although not a common occurrence, we do reserve the right to refuse an application for adoption.

If your new pet is joining other animals in your household, you’ll need to supervise the animals’ interaction for a while. Let your pets start off by sniffing each other through a closed door. Once they get used to the strange smells, open the door a crack and let them see each other. Gradually allow them more contact, and eventually let them meet face-to-face.
