Thanks to Jenny Owens for updating us about her family's new companion.. Boots, adopted from our shelter just this past May. Boots (L) is sitting with her new best friend, Rusty, who was already a family member. The Owens' tell us that Boots like to fish for ice in her water bowl and makes bubbles while she's doing it, which entertains everyone!
"What you do to save the lives of animals like Boots and help them find new homes can't be measured, but hopefully grateful updates from happy homes is a small repayment for all your efforts."

Another happy adoption story comes to us from the Luers Family. Here's a picture of Suzie - adopted from the shelter in January - surrounded by her very favorite kids! Mom writes to tell us that Suzie is a loving, devoted, playful dog and is always eager to please. Suzie misses the kids when they're at school and loves to go out to the bus to meet them! "It has truly been a match made in heaven from the moment we brought her home. I wish that all adoptions were as successful as ours has been."
The animal shelter is the place to come to look for your forever friend!
