The Humane Association of Warren County Animal
Shelter and Adoption Center has served Warren
County and Southwest Ohio for 35 years. We operate
the only animal shelter and adoption
center in Warren County and as a non-profit,
animal welfare organization, depend on tax-deductible
donations to support our annual budget. As we
celebrate our 35th Anniversary, we are proud
of the fact that, during those 35 years, we have
provided a safe haven and loving care for hundreds
of thousands of homeless dogs and cats, giving
them a second chance for new and happy
lives. In addition, we have reunited
thousands of lost pets with their beloved owners.
Since our founding in 1973, our ultimate goal
has been to find loving, life-long homes for
every adoptable pet left in our care. At the
same time, we have been successful in dramatically
reducing the alarming number of unwanted dogs
and cats in Warren County through our progressive,
long-established spay/neuter initiatives.
We are also in the forefront
of educating young people in our communities
to serve as ambassadors to promote the humane
treatment of all animals and the obligation
for all pet owners to spay and neuter their
cats and dogs.
As the Executive Director and one of the original
founders of the Humane Association, I promise
you, we are not finished yet. We will continue
to find new and creative ways to save the lives
of the thousands of homeless pets that come to
us every year for loving care and that second
chance they deserve.
To do this, I need your help. Together we can
accomplish the monumental challenge of saving
not just a few, but thousands of homeless pets
each year.
On behalf of the Humane Association
and all the Shelter Pets that have touched our
lives, I thank you for your past and future support.

We're Easy to Find!
Located at
the intersection of Cook Road and Route 48 in
Lebanon, our central location allows easy access
for pet owners, potential adoptive families and
drop-off/pick-up of lost and found pets.
Our
expansion and renovation project, completed in
2004, doubled the size of the Shelter to a total
of 22,000 square feet. The renovation added new
super- sized dog kennels and cat cages, a larger,
better-equipped spay/neuter operatory and recovery
area, and an expanded education meeting room
for pet related programs and classroom training. |
