HAWC Critter Camp: Nocturnals Week

Join us for an exciting hands-on adventure as we discover the fascinating world of nocturnal animals! This special two-hour HAWC Critter Camp is recommended for children ages 8–12 and gives campers the opportunity to learn about the amazing animals that come to life after dark. Participants will explore the unique adaptations of bats, owls, opossums, and other nighttime wildlife while discovering how these incredible creatures navigate, hunt, and survive under the cover of darkness.

Each Critter Camp includes engaging educational activities, exciting live bat interactions, and a themed craft inspired by our featured nocturnal animals. Led by Humane Association of Warren County staff, this interactive program encourages curiosity, conservation, and a greater appreciation for the important role these often misunderstood animals play in our ecosystem. Join us for a fun-filled evening of learning, creativity, and unforgettable encounters with some of nature's most fascinating nighttime creatures!
