HAWC Critter Camp: Raptors Week

Join us for an exciting hands-on adventure as we soar into the fascinating world of raptors! This special two-hour HAWC Critter Camp is recommended for children ages 8–12 and introduces campers to some of nature's most incredible birds of prey. Participants will learn about hawks, owls, falcons, eagles, and other raptors, exploring their unique adaptations, habitats, hunting skills, and the important role they play in maintaining healthy ecosystems.

Each Critter Camp includes engaging educational activities, exciting live animal encounters with our special raptor ambassadors (when available), and a themed craft inspired by these amazing birds. Led by Humane Association of Warren County staff, this interactive program encourages curiosity, conservation, and a deeper appreciation for Ohio's native wildlife. Join us for a fun-filled morning of learning, creativity, and unforgettable experiences with some of nature's most magnificent hunters!
